We believe food is a fundamental part of our culture as well as music, art and traditions.

Vado A Cena would like to promote besides the great food from Italy, also other forms of culture. We decided to give music advice. You can find it in one section of our monthly newsletter: music to accompany a relaxing moment sipping a glass of wine, a romantic dinner or an “aperitivo time” with friends. You can find the music in playlists we created on our youtube channel, too.

Our love for undiscovered art forms gave us the chance to cooperate with Dracco, a superb architect, designer and cartoonist from Brussels, home of the European art of comics.

Monthly Dracco designs a comic strip for Vado A Cena.

It's a fun way to make our clients smile, trying to not take the stereotypes of Italian people and their habits too seriously. It's the story of Carletto Gallese, a boy in his 30s, living in London with his Italian family still at his parent's place. He spends every day in his favorite Italian coffee bar, Bar Lusconi, where he meets Londoners and femme fatales. That is where the comic scenes take place.

No matter whom he meets, though, his love/obsession for his mamma forces him to leave the Bar Lusconi at dinner time, as he has to go home for dinner (“vado a cena...” = I have to go for dinner).

We believe this is a fun and diverse way to promote a special, hand-made and authentic art, to give a moment of relax and laughs to our clients and market our business idea differently.

Below you can find all our Carletto Gallese strips, enjoy!
