About vadoAcena
Vado A Cena means "I go for dinner", it is a common saying in Italy when one has to leave his friends at the aperitivo to run home to mamma’s for dinner. Years of passion and "amore" for food and wine made the vadoAcena team choose the best products which represent the authenticity and high quality standards of Italy's small and local producers.
All goods are produced based on traditional recipes only with natural ingredients.
After moving to London we were looking to provide something, leading into the holidays, other than the usual fare for gift hampers for clients, friends and family. The result was working with Italian producers of fine wine and other goods to construct a personalized and custom high end Italian experience in England, and now throughout Europe.
All the products are somehow connected to our life (for example the red wine Campordigno is the one we picked the grapes in the summer 2006). It's not just the product itself, it's a lifestyle, the one we fortunately had for more than 3 years living in the magical countryside of Tuscany.
It's a nice meal in the good company of friends or lovers, it's a day in a Tuscan medieval town buying local specialties.
We use the same wrapping paper used by the Italian producers to create an unique style uniting simplicity and originality and now you can easily shop online and with a few clicks get your delicacies delivered to your door.
